Water Ceremony

Rev. Mira Kepler

As we welcome the turning of the season from Summer to Fall, join Rev. Mira for a community ritual honoring the sacred places, traditions, and transitions of our lives.  Please bring a small amount of water from a place that is important to you, whether your home or a loved one’s, a place you have traveled to, or a favorite natural body of water. We will honor the waters and blend them together to create our communal holy water for the year.

We are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. The service will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person.  Masks are now optional but strongly advised. If you are not feeling well, please wear a mask, or attend via Zoom.

Religious Education for Children will occur during the regular service.

Join us for Coffee Hour after the service in Fellowship Hall!
