The Unexpected Gifts From Tragedy

Bunny Keterman
November 8, 2023 marks the five-year anniversary of the California Paradise Camp Fire.  The fire destroyed Paradise and surrounding towns and is the fifth deadliest wildfire in US history, the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history, the one of the most-costly natural disasters in US history, and is the largest insurance payout in the world.  Eighty-five people lost their lives, more than 153,000 acres burned, and more than 18,000 structures were burned.  This tragic catastrophe is a defining moment for UU congregant Bunny Keterman.  Bunny will talk about her experience with a focus on recovery and the blessings that can come from tragedy.
