“Prayer and Present Life”
Join Ian Kepler, LCSW, for consideration of this month’s theme of Prayer. Ian is a psychotherapist, parent, and devoted student of Zen Buddhism. His experience with prayer and contemplative traditions is rich and varied, having grown up in the Lutheran tradition, attended Catholic school, studied Tai Chi from age 12, spent several years in residency at a Zen Monastery, served as the clinical director of a spiritually-oriented Native American drug treatment program, and is now married to our minister, Rev. Mira.
Later in the afternoon, our PUUF Pagan Chapter conducted their seasonal Mabon Ritual. Here it is.
We are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. The service will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person. Masks are now optional but strongly advised. If you are not feeling well, please wear a mask, or attend via Zoom.

Join us for Coffee Hour after the service in Fellowship Hall!
