Combating the Epidemic of Veteran Suicide/Rogue Cell

Combating the Epidemic of Veteran Suicide
Sean Davis and his friend Brad Pietzyk are both veterans who are deeply concerned about the prevalence of veteran suicide. They founded Rogue Cell, an organization of combat veterans whose main goal is to stop veteran suicide in rural Oregon. Their mission statement reads: “We are dedicated to combating isolation and reducing veteran suicide through fostering meaningful relationships, providing vital resources and empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges together. With a foundation rooted in respect, integrity and service, we work to ensure every veteran feels valued, supported and inspired to thrive.” You will be moved and inspired by Sean’s message.

We are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. The service will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person.  Masks are now optional but strongly advised. If you are not feeling well, please wear a mask, or attend via Zoom.

Join us for Coffee Hour after the service in Fellowship Hall!
