Nuclear proliferation has been a threat to the world since the U.S. bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The nuclear reactor that melted down in Chernobyl is now in the middle of a war zone. DOGE made a mistake when they fired 300 workers at the National Nuclear Security Administration, the managers of our nation’s nuclear weapons. Now we have a reckless war with Iran, with the argument that Iran was weeks away from having a nuclear warhead being one justification for our administration’s aggression. David Delk has thought about nuclear weapons for a long time and shares his insights.
