Flying to a family reunion or vacation, we’ve no doubt heard the pilot announce, “We expect some turbulence ahead. Please remain in your seats with your seatbelt fastened.” Today, we may not be on a plane, but we are certainly experiencing stormy weather. How do we maintain balance in the midst of uncertainty?

The Reverend Carol McKinley now retired, is the affiliated community minister with the Olympia UU Congregation, where she headed its Faith in Action program. For nine years she served as coordinator for Washington UU Voices for Justice, the legislative advocacy organization.

We are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. The service will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person.  Masks are now optional but strongly advised. If you are not feeling well, please wear a mask, or attend via Zoom.
