SUMMARY:The Obon Society
DESCRIPTION:Rex & Keiko Ziak\, founders of the Obon Society\, will present our program.  The Obon Society is a non-profit humanitarian effort dedicated to the pursuit of peace.  They provide the opportunity for reconciliation between families through the return of personal items taken during war.  They help those who have these heirlooms and would like to return them to the rightful owners.  Their stories and videos to these returns are very moving.\nWe can now meet in person at First Presbyterian Church of Astoria\, 1103 Grand Avenue\, but we will still broadcast on Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person.  Link can be obtained from the weekly newsletter or from either President@Pacuuf.org or PuufConnections@gmail.com \nMasks are required. Speakers and performers will be taking their masks off when they speak or perform from the podium. RE will continue on Zoom until children are vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated or are not feeling well\, please consider others and attend via Zoom. No food or drink is allowed in the Presbyterian Church Sanctuary.
