And are there possibilities hidden in the uncertain? \n Seth Tichenor is a teacher\, scholar\, public lecturer\, and evangelist for the transformative power of philosophical discourse\, traditions\, and reflection. He has been giving philosophy talks\, teaching open philosophy classes\, and leading philosophy discussion groups\, all for the general public\, for over 30 years. He has also taught at Linfield College\, Oregon State University\, the University Of Hawaii\, and Concordia University\, as well as Clatsop Community College. \n Seth believes that philosophy\, in its many dimensions\, is an integral part of human experience\, both personally and communally\, and something everyone can benefit from encountering. Consequently\, he and his wife\, Gad Perez-Tichenor established “Philosofarian” in 2011 – a nonprofit public philosophy project that brings philosophical inquiry\, reflection\, classes\, and discourse to everyone in their community at no cost.
