For Lughnasadh we will be looking to Asia and incorporating ritual elements and prayers from the Shinto religion of Japan. Shinto is a living tradition with an unbroken line of transmission through a continuous priesthood dating back over 2\,000 years. It is an animistic faith that encourages practitioners to recognize their connection to the cycle of the Great Nature. Within Shinto practice\, there are household altars\, a priesthood\, and recognized traditions of fortune telling\, seasonal rites\, and magical esoterism.
