SUMMARY:The Annual Water Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Rev. Mira Kepler \nAs we welcome the turning of the season from Summer to Fall\, join Rev. Mira for a community ritual honoring the sacred places\, traditions\, and transitions of our lives.  Please bring a small amount of water from a place that is important to you\, whether your home or a loved one’s\, a place you have traveled to\, or a favorite natural body of water. We will honor the waters and blend them together to create our communal holy water for the year. \nWe are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. The service will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person.  Masks are now optional but strongly advised. If you are not feeling well\, please wear a mask\, or attend via Zoom. \n  \n \nJoin us for Coffee Hour after the service in Fellowship Hall!

SUMMARY:CSAI 2025 - Abolition\, Transformation and Faith Formation.
DESCRIPTION:Fellow congregant Laura Gordon will inform us of Congregational Study Action Issues (CSAI). These are issues selected by UU member congregations for three years of study\, reflection and action. The purpose is to provide member congregations of the Association with an opportunity to mobilize energy\, ideas and resources around a common issue. The end result will be a deeper understanding of our religious position on the issue\, a clear statement of Association policy as expressed in a Statement of Conscience\, and a greater capacity for congregations to take effective action. \nWe are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. The service will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person.  Masks are now optional but strongly advised. If you are not feeling well\, please wear a mask\, or attend via Zoom. \n \nJoin us for Coffee Hour after the service in Fellowship Hall!
