DESCRIPTION:Sean Minogue and Adriana Guerrero  \nOn June 2nd\, PUUF will host three community members to share experiences and answer questions about our LGBTQIA Coastal community\, their safety\, what we should know and how we can best support our queer friends and family. Lindsay Gilinsky\, Benedetto DeFrancisco and Tessa Scheller will be our panel members. We will have a fun time for all ages with a silly story about finding your own way and lovely songs to celebrate Pride and togetherness. \n  \n~Open hearts\, open minds\, room for all theologies\, including yours~\n  \nWe are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. DESCRIPTION:Rev. Carol McKinley \nThe longing for justice\, equity\, and peace is not new; ancient peoples expressed their hopes in myths\, songs and stories.  Prophets who warned of looming catastrophes were shunned\, much as today’s prophets whose warnings of environmental and social dangers are ignored or belittled.  How do we open ourselves to hear their truths and have the courage to act? \nThe Reverend Carol McKinley\, the affiliated community minister with the Olympia UU Congregation\, received her MDiv from Seattle University’s School of Theology and Ministry in 2004.  She served as coordinator of Washington UU Voices for Justice\, a statewide legislative advocacy network. \n  \n~Open hearts\, open minds\, room for all theologies\, including yours~\n  \nWe are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria. The service will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person.  Masks are now optional but strongly advised. DESCRIPTION:Come join Pacific CUUPs for our Litha/Midsummer Ritual as we walk the labyrinth at Columbia Memorial Hospital to connect to the sacred center!  We will honor and make offerings to sun deities\, the longest day\, and walk the labyrinth in meditation\, reconnecting with the Earth\, ourselves\, and all things in the sacred web of life. \n  \n~Open hearts\, open minds\, room for all theologies\, including yours~\n  \nWe are NOT meeting at the Presbyterian Church!  We will be meeting at the CMH Labyrinth Park (between the ER and Cancer Center).  There are picnic tables\, but we won’t have the same kind of coffee hour.  If you want to bring a fingerfood snack or a drink to share\, please be sure to bring paper plates and cups and a garbage bags.  Pack it in\, Pack it out.  Thank you! \n

SUMMARY:Weaving Our Lives
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Worship for UUA GA\n  \nWe are all tangled up together in a great web of life that is woven with beauty and hardship\, love and loss\, thriving and struggle. How do we tend well to the weaving so that all of us are held in care? \nThe Sunday Worship service from the 2024 UUA General Assembly will be on video\, but include live elements from our own fellowship. \n \nWe have been invited by the Presbyterians to come to their “Kirkin’ O’ the Tartan” service\, complete with bagpipe processional\, next Sunday at 10:00 AM\, and then join them for coffee hour and potluck in Fellowship Hall from 11:00 to 12:00. Our regular service will start in the sanctuary at noon. Wear your tartan\, if you have one\, and bring something for the potluck.\n  \n~Open hearts\, open minds\, room for all theologies\, including yours~\n  \nWe are meeting in person at the First Presbyterian Church of Astoria.
